managing your health.
Stick With It
It may not always be easy, but staying motivated and committed to your therapy is important for your health. That means going to every scheduled doctor’s appointment and following your doctor’s recommendations.
Be sure to maintain an open and honest conversation with your doctor and other members of your treatment team. Contact your doctor if you experience any new symptoms or if any symptoms worsen. Ask questions about things you don’t understand. Your doctor and team members want you to get the best possible care.
Ask for support from family and friends when you need it—you might find that many of them are eager to help in any way that they can. You can also get help from support groups and other men who are dealing with prostate cancer.
