Prostate Cancer Treatment Info from TAP

There are many things you can do to take action in your treatment plan for prostate cancer, from learning more about the condition and treatment options to doing the things you enjoy, like spending time with loved ones or practicing your favorite hobby.

One of the most important things you can do is to think of your doctor as a partner in your care. Your doctor can help you make the decisions that are best for your health. To get the most from your doctor visits, it helps to spend some time beforehand thinking about the questions you'll want answered. Being prepared in advance will help you take control.

To get started, you can download and print these Questions to Ask Your Doctor, and take them with you on your next doctor visit. There is also space for you to write your own questions. Be sure to write down the answers during your visit, or right afterward, so that you can review the information later.
